Hello My Name is Sierra Mitchell, Business owner of Sierra's Door Décor & More also know as SDDM. When starting my business in 2020, I only did hand painted and crafted items, I started with nothing. I only made wreaths, and wooden door hangers. Later that year my sister bought me a Cricut for Christmas which expanded my business more than you could ever imagine. I started making more in depth and more detailed door hangers, expanding my limits more than I could have ever imagined. I work full time as a Business Office Manager at a assisted living in a small town. I am a CNA, Medtech and worked my way up into the management team. Working in the medical field, I made wreaths and door hangers for my residents and team members for their homes and families. But, I wanted more, what could I make that, could make everyone smile and continually love. One of my co-workers at work ask me to make her a badge reel, based of a picture that she found on google. I had NEVER messed with resin, or even knew where to start to make a badge reel. But, I couldn't tell her no. So I researched and googled and soon made my first ever badge reel. My love grew quickly from there and since made and grew to love to make them. As of right now they are our best seller. I have fell away from door hangers and wreaths, but not on purpose, more that I have had a overwhelming demand for badge reels. I love what I do for my small business and have always been beyond grateful of the amount of love and support I have received since 2020, I plan to continue to grow bring in more products.
Brittany Bouldin, my one and only employee, which still not sure how it even happened, and also my little sister. Brittany is also in the medical field like I am, she is a hospice LPN and love what she does. Brittany does more behind the scenes than most people even know. Some of the downsides of being a fulltime worker and owning a small business owner, half the time I couldn't tell you what day it is, or stay up way to late, and sometime even forget to stop and feed myself. But Brittany, my beautiful blessing helps keep me on track, helps me with all local events that I attend and puts up with my attitude on a daily basis. Sends me random text through the day to make sure I am okay and on track. She helps me fill orders 3 to 4 times a week. She is my marketer for Facebook an Instagram, when she is with me she has my phone responding to emails and messages. I couldn't ask for a better sister and business partner!
